There are few materials more diverse than bamboo because it is used in the making of such a wide variety of items. Bamboo is used in the making of musical instruments, food sources, construction products, writing surfaces and now textiles.
Traditionally originating from Asia centuries ago, strips of it were woven together to make shoes and hats. These shoes and hats were mostly used in the agricultural world by farmers and fishermen.
Our own version is a far-cry from the origins of bamboo headwear!
